Is ZAD halal?
Yes — every ingredient comes from HMA-certified suppliers, and nothing non-halal ever enters our kitchen. Our own kitchen certification is in progress with HMA; the certifier's name will appear on every label the day it's granted.
Where do you deliver?
Across urban Ottawa — Riverside South, Barrhaven, Findlay Creek, Nepean, and inside the Greenbelt — every weekday evening between 5 and 9pm. Ontario side only at launch.
Why do menus lock 3 days ahead?
Because we buy and cook exactly what's ordered — no warming trays, no waste. Your picks give the kitchen precise counts, which is how the food stays fresh and the prices stay fair.
Can I pause or skip days?
Anytime, in the app, free. Skip a single day, pause for a trip, resume when you're back — your plan just stops billing for the days you skip.
How spicy is the food?
Exactly as spicy as you say. Every account has a heat level — None, Mild, Medium, or Hot — added at packing and printed on your label. Full flavour either way.
What if I have allergies?
Every dish shows its allergens before you pick it, and every label carries a full 'Contains' line. With three choices per meal, there's always a clean pick — GF and DF dishes are marked too.
